Q:
Are there any guidelines I should follow when submitting artwork?

A: Yes, please refer to our guidelines and instructions below so we may achieve the best print results from your artwork.

Q: What format should I submit my artwork in?
A: When submitting your artwork, we ask that files are 'print ready'. The best format would be a PDF with a 3mm bleed.

All image should be at least 300dpi.

Q: What dimensions should my artwork be?
A: Artwork should be in proportion and can be supplied at 25%, 50% or 100 % of the finished size.

Q: Can I send you something to print I found on the internet

A: Yes, if you have purchased it from a library stock provider.

(Most images on the web are 72dpi and are not suitable for professional printing and probably subject to copyright.)

Please check your artwork is submitted as CYMK as opposed to RGB.

CYMK is the colour mode intended for printing with ink, such as posters and banners.

RGB is the colour mode intended for screen display.

These are the formats suitable for reproduction

Adobe pdf logo

PDF

Adobe PDF is the preferred file format as high resolution files with all fonts converted to outlines, including a 3mm bleed

Adobe Indesign logo

INDESIGN

Flatten transparencies and include a 3mm bleed.

Images should be embedded and all font outlined.

Please ensure the files are packaged.

Adobe Photoshop logo

PHOTOSHOP

Jpg, tiff and pdf should all be at a minimum of 300dpi and include a 3mm bleed where appropriate.

Adobe Illustrator logo

ILLUSTRATOR (Ai / EPS)

Images should be embedded and all font outlined.

Flatten transparencies and include a 3mm bleed.

These documents are NOT suitable for large format printing.
